A rustic Provençal getaway near Valbonne & Grasse

Your sanctuary and home away from home — a stone villa and pool that has been in the family for 45 years.

Bienvenue

“A day here felt worth two weeks of vacation elsewhere.”

Villa l'Aimant sits on several south-facing terraces dotted with very old olive trees, in the quiet hamlet of Opio. Between the main house and its poolside guest house, it comfortably hosts a family or a gathering of friends.

This is a fully-lived-in secondary home — warm, characterful and genuinely loved — not a property dressed up for short stays. Come for the pool, the long al fresco lunches, and the calm.

A quick hello

The family behind the villa

Cyrus, your host

Cyrus — your host

An entrepreneur by day and a lifelong hobbyist by night. I'm an avid traveler, barely coherent in six languages (but at least good enough to order dinner), an amateur food blogger because I love to cook, and a hopeless bookworm.

I look after the villa from afar and I'm quick to reply — you'll have a direct line to me for anything, from restaurant bookings to a wine tour we'd secretly love to join. Comme vous voulez.

Jack — co-host, on the ground

My father Jack is your local host. He's the friendly face at check-in, the one who knows which market day is best and where the good bread is, and the person who makes sure the house is ready and the pool is sparkling before you arrive.

Between the two of us, you're never far from a helpful answer — before, during and after your stay.
